Showcases
Selected examples of the integration of eyebase installations into existing web sites.
eyebase is web based and feeds your web site with a range of media material. The integration is very straight forward. Take a look at some actual examples.
eyebase slide show easily integrated into web sites
Your web site can be equiped with, and enhanced by, the simple addition of eyebase functionality. Slide shows, videos and images can be added directly and even maintained and replaced in real time. This is in use at Verein Abo.
At the web site of photographer Michael Alschner the PIN for a collection can be entered into the login field. Entre the PIN “IUBmQEvz” and a slide shoe view of a collection is shown (or use this link: Alschner eyebase Slideshow.).
Integrate eyebase collections into web sites
Collection views can be adapted to suite your UI by means of CSS. This allows quick and easy integration of media content from eyebase while respectint the existing web site look & feel. When managing the PINs for a collection it is possible to set optional features such as the number of images per page, the type of view (thumbnails, detail list, slide show), expiration date, which file qualities are downloadable, which fields to show and so on.
AirBerlin made pictures available for anyone interested on their download page. From there you visitors can click on “Downloads” where they get a selection of different categories of pictues all opening an eyebase collection:
Selling images with eyebase-Shop
The shoping basket module of eyebase allows images or documents to be sold in an online store. This makes eyebase the ideal tool for a photographer wishing to sell images or offer their customers fee-based downloads. It can handle contracts, is linked to the leading payment systems and can automatically process the transactions.
Product information system for sales department and customers
A Research Client provides a means of automatic login (that is, with entering account name and password) which has reduced functionality and optionally gives access to only a subset of the records. Record search and view is available but not editing or organising.
eyebase customers use the eyebase ResearchClient for very diverse purposes. SBB (Swiss Federal Railroad) publishes a photo gallery with downloadable pictures for anyone who is interested. ContiTech Corp. presents its business reports and uses it together with the AdvanceDownload Tool to provide media assets to its distributors. The worlds market leader in percussion instruments, Roland Meinl Musikinstrumente, publishes a product catalog with images, documents and sound files:
- SBB Photo Galery embedded in SBB main website
- ContiTech Media Base
- Meinl Research Client showing product portfolio
Web2Print solution with eyebase-Shop
With the Web2Print function eyebase-Shop can publish business card or even large documents based on files coming from Indesign or PDFs. Shipping agents and print services can be thus be included in the workflow, making it relatively straight forward to supply your distribution channel with a constant flow of personalised information material. Smith and Nephew has installed eyebase for the on-demand publication of their product catalogue.
PDF import, split and join
PDF format documents can be split during import by chapter and/or page and then stored in an eyebase folder hierarchy that matches the document structure. This folder structure can then, for example, be reassembled for export by as selected from hierarchical drop-down lists. A travel agency can use this to create a individually customised catalog from selected chapters or pages.
Select the desired chapter and page from the drop-down list.
